Kristin Cavallari may have only given birth a few months ago, but she’s already back in shape, and back in charge. The Hills actress and model has divulged her secrets on her choice of foods, her sex life, and how she balances motherhood with everything else.
Becoming a mother is a life altering experience if you’re doing it right. Your own needs end up being weighed against those of the child or children, and the partner you chose to raise the baby with.
Cavallari has more do to than most mothers, but the 27-year-old beauty manages to do it anyway. She says she prefers to eat what she knows is real food.
“I don’t eat any toxic chemicals, so I never count calories, but I’m always reading labels. I try to eat organic as often as possible. We do a ton of grass-fed beef and real butter. If I’m going to eat something I want it to be real food — no fake, processed chemical crap. And I try to make sure I get in at least a few vegetables everyday.”
While organic foods are certainly working for Kristin Cavallari, they might not be enough for others. She most likely gets in a healthy exercise regimen, even when it comes to intimate time with athlete-hubby Jay Cutler. She hinted during the interview with the magazine that she prefers to be “on top” during sex, which is certainly more exercise than the usual alternative.

The obvious result of Cavallari’s love life, Jaxon, joins his 2-year-old brother, Camden, and she couldn’t be happier.
“You just have so much more love in your life. Motherhood really makes you realize what’s important in life and puts everything into perspective. It’s the hardest but most rewarding job.”
While the couple’s conflicting schedules make it difficult to spend time together, Kristin Cavallari still makes the most of the time she can be with him.
“With a new baby it’s really hard because the last thing I want to do at night is get ready to go to dinner – I would rather just go to bed.”
Cavallari’s success at juggling her family, her career, and intimate time with her husband most likely took some practice and planning, and not everybody can be that lucky. The way you handle it all depends on you as an individual.
Did Kristin Cavallari’s example give you any ideas on juggling your own life?
