Kenya Moore On NeNe’s New Evil Role: ‘I Think It’s Perfect Casting’

Kenya Moore may be keeping to herself these days as she is filming The Real Housewives of Atlanta, which is rumored to start airing in November, but she seems to be less-than-supportive of her fellow co-star NeNe Leakes. It is no secret that Moore and NeNe have been battling for the prime spot on the show. While Leakes claims she is the number one woman on the show, it seems like Kenya is motivated to throw her off the throne.

This month, Leakes announced that she would be working on Broadway, playing the evil and wicked stepmother in Broadway’s production of Cinderella. And while she is thrilled with her new role, it sounds like Kenya Moore is throwing insults at her.

According to a new Bravo report, Kenya Moore was asked about NeNe’s new role, and she actually thought that the casting was perfect. It sounds like she thinks Leakes is evil.

“I think it’s perfect casting, I do,” Kenya Moore revealed when asked about NeNe’s new job while she was attending Fashion Week in New York City, adding, “I don’t have a relationship with (her). (She) is on an island by herself somewhere with her attitude.”

Maybe the original Atlanta housewife saw the interview, because it didn’t take long for her to react on Twitter. Clearly, she felt that Kenya Moore was just giving her opinion to get some media attention for herself.

It is no secret that Leakes and Kenya are not good friends. This past season, the two exchanged words that led to a heated reunion show. Even though the two have both been caught filming this month, rumor has it that Moore will be the only one left standing. Nothing has been confirmed yet, but Leakes has often said that she doesn’t want to film The Real Housewives of Atlanta because the show is too dramatic.

Apollo Nida told Kenya Moore that she should work on her story line on the show, because he was facing jail time during the reunion. Nida has since turned himself in and he is now serving eight years behind bars. But Moore is keeping busy, and her upcoming story may be about anything but Nida. According to The Inquisitr, Kenya has been working on becoming a mother.

On the previous season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Moore announced that she was ready to pursue motherhood, even though she was dating an African millionaire at the time. It was uncertain whether he would be the father or if she would be pursuing other options. But Kenya did seem determined to make this happen.
