Samsung Mocks Apple For ‘Imitating’ In Cynical New Ad [Video]
Samsung have amusingly released a new ad mocking their rivals, Apple, over “imitating” the design of their Galaxy Note large size. Apple unveiled the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus on September 9, though Samsung was not to be outdone. The South Korean brand wanted to remind the world that they are still the trend-setters of the phablet market.
Apple have the advantage of releasing its product before Samsung, but the competition still made sure that they weren’t caught flatfooted by responding with a witty commercial that debuted on Samsung’s official YouTube channel. The video has caught the attention of techies and non-techies alike.

Samsung also made sure to remind the media of the early criticism they gave the Galaxy Note when it was first launched. Earlier criticisms of the Galaxy Note had mocked the large size of the Samsung phablet.
In the past, Samsung have released ads to counter their market rivals. A few have made their mark, and others have been utterly shambolic.
Last year, Samsung teased the petite size of the iPhone compared to the Samsung Galaxy S5. The Samsung glorified its 5.1 inch screen over the iPhone 5s 4 inch screen.
This Samsung Galaxy S4 ad made light fun comparing some of the features to the iPhone 5. However, a few users were critical of the ad.
YouTube user Martin Lolov said, “You know what samsung.. these ads would be fun to watch if the features you advertise work as well as you think they do.. Did anybody else say “Bullsh*t” in their heads at least a couple of times?”

In a new advert for the Samsung Galaxy S3, Samsung is once again taking aim at Apple fans, suggesting the iPhone is for old folks. Later that year, Samsung outsold Apple for the first time.
Samsung have packed a behemoth of a punch by bulking up the Note 4 with a Quad HD Super AMOLED 5.7 display, 16MP camera, and a faster Snapdragon 805 chip. It has also improved the S pen stylus, making it more sensitive in order to gain a better impression of your natural handwriting.
Apple will release the iPhone 6 on September 19, while the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is set to be released globally sometime in October.
