After the wedding, Princess Kate reportedly continued to focus on weight loss. But when the news of her first pregnancy were confirmed, Princess Kate became determined to do all that she could to have a healthy baby. Although Princess Kate is struggling with severe morning sickness again, she is eager to become the mother of two. Her condition, known as hyperemesis gravidarum, caused her to be hospitalized during her first pregnancy. The Honor Society of Nursing (STTI) reports that the acute form of morning sickness occurs in only two percent of pregnant women.
However, Princess Kate is prepared this time with the knowledge of how to manage the illness. She is under the care of the royal physicians, who will watch for possible complications such as severe dehydration from vomiting.
