Paul Walker’s daughter Meadow gave her dad a heartbreaking tribute this week on what would have been the actor’s 41st birthday, posting a picture of a beaming Walker holding her as a toddler.
The 15-year-old Meadow posted the picture of her father on her Instagram page, showing Walker holding her more than a decade ago.
“Happy birthday, I love you,” wrote 15-year-old Meadow.
Paul Walker was killed in November in a fiery car crash in California. Since then, both fellow stars and family members have been paying tribute to the Fast and the Furious star, with many sharing their memories this week on what would have been his birthday.
Friend and fellow Fast and the Furious star Vin Diesel also posted an emotional video tribute to Paul. The clip showed Paul at a birthday party held last year. As a crowd sings “Happy Birthday,” Walker and Diesel share a hug.
“Miss you Pablo,” the video states in text.
Other Fast and Furious stars have also shared their memories. Jordana Brewster posted a picture of a sunrise on WhoSay with the caption, “#HappyBirthdayPW #ROWW Always in our hearts,” adding she had made a donation to the foundation Walker founded to aid victims of natural disasters, Reach Out WorldWide.
Reach Out WorldWide shared its own message for Paul Walker on his birthday.
“Today, like everyday, the team at Reach Out WorldWide is working hard to continue Paul Walkers’ dream and honor his legacy,” JD Dorfman, director Of operations for ROWW, told E! News. “We are eternally grateful for the continued support we receive that allows us to do what we do best—help others in their time of need. Happy Birthday Paul, we miss you.”
Ludacris sent a message as well.
“Happy Bday to an Angel today @paulwalker,” he captioned a pic on Instagram of Walker during one of his humanitarian trips.
Meadow Walker isn’t the only family member paying tribute to Paul Walker. His younger brothers, Cody and Caleb, have filled in for him as body doubles in shooting for the latest Fast and the Furious installment, the last movie Paul was working on when he died.
