Ghost Recon: Future Soldier headed to retail March of next year

A whole bunch of retail listings went up on the web today pegging a March 6 release date for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, with listings popping up from the likes of Amazon, GameStop, GameFly, Best Buy, Target, and Wal-Mart.

It’s not often that retail dates ahead of an official announcement turn out to be true, but this one did; Ubisoft confirmed in a statement to Joystiq that the retailers are correct, and Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will ship out on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on March 6.

Back in June, Ubisoft announced that a multiplayer beta for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will kick off at some point in January. Unfortunately for you PlayStation 3 and PC gamers, the beta will reportedly be exclusive to the Xbox 360.
