Katey Sagal Reunites ‘Married With Children’ Cast To Accept Hollywood Walk Of Fame Star

Katey Sagal finally earned her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!

As the Mother Formerly Known as Peggy, Katey Sagal was even able to turn this honorable moment into a reunion of one of the most popular TV families of all time. That’s right — the Bundy family!

To celebrate Katey Sagal and this major career achievement and milestone, each of the lead actors from the Married with Children cast joined their former TV mother and wife for what has now been called a “Married with Children” reunion.

Ed O’Neill (Al), Christina Applegate (Kelly) and David Faustino (Bud) starred alongside Katey Sagal on the hit FOX television series for 11 seasons and more than 250 episodes from 1987 to 1997. No matter what any of these actors and actresses did before or after that show, most people will always remember their breakthrough roles as being part of the TV family we all hated to love but somehow related to – the Bundy family.

With her lengthy career on the small screen, Katey Sagal has been able to take on a number of successful roles in different genres – proving to fans and critics alike that her range as an actress is impeccably versatile. Think about it!

As Peggy Bundy on Married with Children, Katey got a chance to play the anti-housewife. She didn’t cook. She didn’t clean. She didn’t work. She barely knew how to raise her own children. She had big hair, big dreams and continuously tried to woo a man that was clearly fed up with her in more ways than he was willing to admit to her face.

As Cate Hennessy on the hit series 8 Simple Rules with the late John Ritter and future Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco, Katey Sagal got the chance to play a hard-working wife, mother and nurse that was clearly the most levelheaded and sane person in her entire house.

As Gemma Teller Morrow on Sons of Anarchy, Katey Sagal has truly had the opportunity to shine in perhaps one of the darkest and most controversial roles of her career.

Keep in mind that she is also the woman that voiced the animated, one-eyed ship captain Leela on Matt Groening’s hit cartoon series, Futurama, for seven seasons. So, yes…Sons of Anarchy was a very, very different role for Katey Sagal.

However, Katey Sagal has been able to shine on the small screen at the age of 60 just as brightly as she did when she was in her 30s – appealing to people of all ages and generations for one role or another. If anyone deserved to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, it was Katey Sagal. Her castmates (past and present) believe it:

And, more importantly, many of her fans and critics believe it as well:

Congratulations, Katey Sagal, for ALL of your awards, accolades, certificates, milestones and achievements – including your star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. As Peggy, Cate, Gemma and Leela, you definitely deserved every single one of them!
