Lea Michele Taking The Next Big Step With Boyfriend

Looks like Lea Michele is ready for the next step with her boyfriend Matthew Paetz. It’s only been four months since Michele started dating Paetz, but apparently, in between those jet-setting vacations and PDA hikes, the two have decided to take it to the next level

According to TMZ, Matthew Paetz has moved into Lea’s pad.

“Sources close to Lea tell us… Matthew Paetz packed his stuff into a U-Haul over the weekend… moving out of his apartment, and upgrading to her $1.4 million Hollywood pad after just 4 months of dating.”

It started gradually for the couple. A source told TMZ that Paetz would leave his toothbrush and a t-shirt at Lea’s home, and then Matthew decided to move everything else in over the weekend. This is only three months after Paetz’s past as a gigolo was leaked out. Even though he had a shady past, Lea’s music video beau became closer than ever with the Glee actress. Shortly after that, the two were snapped looking as happy as can be, which was the only confirmation people really needed.

Here’s a new look at the couple hiking from the other day:

No one really pried too much into Lea’s personal life or pressed for an official statement from the actress. After all, she had lost her boyfriend and co-star Cory Monteith to a sudden death in July of 2013. That said, it was always expected that Michele would take the tentative steps to get out into the dating world, but it would take time and privacy.

She did just that in July during the week of the first anniversary of Monteith’s death. During that week, Joe Monteith, Cory’s estranged father gave her permission to move on.

“She’s a beautiful young woman. She should enjoy life. She had a good time when she was with Cory, from what I understand, but life’s gotta go on.”

At the time, a close friend of Lea’s told Hollywood Life that even though she enjoys spending time with Paetz, he’s not a replacement for Cory.

“She has by no means found a replacement for Cory, but there are many similarities between the two. She likes the way he treats her — like a princess. Plus he’s a complete gentleman and down to earth. She also likes that Matt has a great sense of humor and makes her laugh.”
