Ubisoft delays Assassin’s Creed: Revelations on PC, releases new trailer

Apparently, Ubisoft has developed a nasty habit of delaying PC releases of their multiplatform releases; more recently it was Driver: San Francisco, and the next casualty of Ubisoft’s new custom is Assassin’s Creed: Revelations.

As usual, Ubisoft neglected to provide a reason for the delay, but they were at least kind enough to let us know when we can expect to get it. No specific date was given, but Ubisoft pinned a December release for the PC version; the console releases, due out on November 15, are unchanged.

In an apparent attempt to soften the blow (or something), Ubisoft released part one of a new video series, Secrets of the Ottoman Assassins. The video highlights one of the game’s new items, the hookblade. As the name suggests, the hookblade is useful as both a utility item, which allows Ezio to make use of ziplines, and also as a weapon.

If you’d like to check that out, you can find it below.
