Prince William On Kate: Thrilled To Have Another Baby With Wife
Prince William spoke out on news that Kate Middleton is pregnant with their second child… and he says that they are both thrilled! According to Arizona Republic, the 32-year-old Duke of Cambridge was at Oxford University on Monday where he spoke after the exciting baby news broke. William admitted that it has been a bit “tricky” over the last few days, but overall he and Kate are really excited to be having another baby together.
“It’s been a tricky few days — week or so — but obviously we’re basically thrilled, it’s great news, and early days. We’re hoping things settle down and she feels a bit better.”
Prince William doted on Kate throughout her pregnancy with Prince George, and this time will be no different. He is very receptive to the fact that she suffers from severe morning sickness, and he does whatever he can to care for her as her body adjusts. Of course, now the couple already have a 13-month-old son who is walking (if not running), so caring for Kate is shared with watching over George so that mom can rest.
Prince William also said that Kate was sorry to miss the event at the University.
“[She] is sorry to miss it [the opening], and she hopes to come back in the future to meet you all for herself,” he said, addressing the crowd (via E! News). Certainly all of them understood that the circumstances prohibited the Duchess of Cambridge from being present.
The pregnancy announcement arrived in the U.S. bright and early this morning by way of an official tweet from Clarence House.

As far as the new royal baby goes, there have already been bets placed in regard to what the couple will name their second child. According to The Inquisitr, James and Victoria are the current leading names. Other baby girl name possibilities include Mary, Catherine, and Elizabeth. Boy names include Arthur, Charles, and Thomas. Of course the name chosen will likely be a combination of some of these names. Prince George’s full name is actually George Alexander Louis.
