‘Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice’ Filming To Continue At Night [Report]

As you may know by now, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has been filming in the Detroit Metro area for several months. The latest reports are that the schedule is moving from daytime to nighttime, which can only mean one thing. Batman.

In recent weeks we have seen a couple of the main stars walking around the street of Detroit, which are currently being used by director Zack Snyder as the set for the Man of Steel sequel. First we saw Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne surrounded by destruction, and later on we saw him being involved in some sort of car chase scene.

Following all those images, we got a first glimpse at Superman himself, British actor Henry Cavill, who was sort of attempting to cover his costume with a black robe (reportedly Snyder asked his main cast to wear said robe to avoid giving away the brand new costumes). A couple of days ago Henry was spotted again, by our friend @bananadoc, this time wearing his Clark Kent ensemble.

Now, multiple sources are reporting that the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice filming could possibly move from daytime to night shoots in the coming days. This would indicate that perhaps we are about to witness the first images of Ben Affleck’s Batman.

This is only speculation since we don’t have any official word from anyone involved in the filming of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. However, it is common knowledge that Batman is a superhero who lives in a cave and only comes out at night.

Those who were lucky enough to attend this year’s Comic Con in San Diego saw the first teaser from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. In the very short video, which will not be released to the public, Batman and Superman meet face to face (we assume this is their first meeting in the film) on a rainy night in Gotham City.

A source has told the website The Daily Superhero that the majority of the filming for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will take place at night during the month of September. It was hinted that Ben Affleck could make an appearance in one or more of these scenes, so stay tuned and we will bring you all the latest set photos.
