Kathy Wakile Releases Cookbook: Will It Compete With Teresa’s Book?

Kathy Wakile stopped filming The Real Housewives of New Jersey last year when Bravo didn’t want to sign her on for another season. She left the show along with Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita. But during the few years she was on the show, Wakile used the platform to share her love for delicious and decadent desserts.

Kathy Wakile spent hours preparing her desserts, doing tastings around New Jersey and New York City, and even tried to start her own catering business, so people could get her desserts around the country. But now, people can create her own desserts at home.

According to a new Bravo report, Kathy Wakile announced this morning her dessert cookbook is ready for the market. The book, called Indulge: Delicious Little Desserts That Keep Life Real Sweet, is available now and it contains 75 recipes of Wakile’s favorite desserts.

Even though creating desserts for a book is time-consuming, Kathy Wakile has revealed that she had fun creating the dishes for her book. For her, it is a joy and therapy. And she is getting the full support of her sister, Rosie Pierri, and her own family.

“I can always count on them to be completely honest,” Kathy, adding, “Victoria and Joseph’s friends were also great too…and I can’t forget Jacqueline Laurita. She was always a willing tester.”

Even though this book is all about desserts, Kathy Wakile is already willing to spread her wings. Now that she isn’t filming The Real Housewives of New Jersey, she may have more time on her hands. And Wakile is already dabbling in appetizers and smaller dishes for her next book.

“It will be a savory book, appetizers and small plates,” Kathy, adding, “I love appetizers and serving small plates. It’s the best way to entertain!”

It sounds like Kathy Wakile‘s creations may not compete with her cousin’s cookbooks, as they are mostly main courses. If you have Teresa Giudice’s cook books, adding Kathy’s book to the mix could give you a full three-course menu for dinner guests. It is unknown, however, how Kathy will react once Teresa’s dessert book gets released.

Even though Kathy hasn’t filmed for the show for months, she is still in full support of her cousin. Everyone has been supporting Teresa and Joe without speaking to the media about the couple’s legal troubles.

The Inquisitr has covered Teresa’s struggles over the past couple of months, including how Giudice and Bravo will handle filming her various court hearings.
