Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed’s Sex Toy Shopping Spree: Sunday Funday
Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed’s relationship is getting hotter by the day. TMZ reports that the couple went on a sex toy shopping spree at the Seduction Love Boutique in Toronto on Sunday and dropped close to $1,000 on a variety of bedroom play things.
The couple recently moved in together after dating for only three weeks, so one would assume that extra towels and new bed sheets would top their shopping list. Ian and Nikki apparently opted to forgo purchasing traditional new home items and enjoyed a night out in Toronto shopping for some kinky toys, a clear indication that their new relationship is going well, at least in the bedroom.
What did The Vampire Diaries and Twilight Saga stars buy at the toy boutique? TMZ states that an off-duty employee clued them in about their pricey purchase. Ian and Nikki reportedly filled their shopping basket to the brim with handcuffs, restraints and vibrators. The employee told TMZ that at first he thought Somerhalder was Zac Efron, but when he told the actor he looked like him, he replied, “Nope, wrong guy” and continued shopping with Reed.
The two celebs may be on the fast track when it comes to dating, moving in and shopping together for things like their new (adopted) horse, Eagle, and hundreds of dollars worth of sex toys, but friends of the couple tell US Weekly that they are “not shocked” about how serious Somerhalder and Reed have become in such a short amount of time.
When the couple is not shopping for sex toys, and assumably trying them out, they spend time together on The Vampire Diaries set, where Ian is spends most of his days. Celeb Dirty Laundry reports that Nikki visits Ian on the set every day, perhaps because she wants to keep a close eye on her boyfriend. After all, he is filming with his ex, Nina Dobrey, who he dated for three years prior to their breakup in May 2013.
Before she started dating Ian, Nikki made the dating rounds with several celebrities after she divorced her husband, Paul McDonald in May 2014. She has been linked to Liam Hemsworth, Orlando Bloom and, most recently, Dancing With the Stars pro dancer Derek Hough.
