DJ Attempts World Record With Longest 7 Day Long DJ Set

DJDC will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the longest club DJ set ever performed.

The attempt will take place on October 2, 2011 at Downtown Santa Ana, California’s historic Yost Theater. DJDC plans to grab the world title and perform for over 150 hours with only a five-minute break per hour set. The current record is being held by DJ King at 120 hours and 19 minutes. You can watch the record-breaking attempt live at worldrecorddj.com.

DJDC, born Rene Brunner, actually performed a 121-hour set in September 2010 but the time was not recorded by Guinness and therefore is not the current official world record.

DJDC began spinning at age 11 in Austria. By age 19, DJDC was already spinning at top clubs including Empire Club, Austria’s largest and most premiere nightclub.
