Halle Berry Hobbles Out on Crutches

Halle Berry has been spotted hobbling into Mallorca Airport on crutches, after breaking her leg on the set for her new film.

The 45-year-old Oscar winner was papped boarding a private plane on Thursday, complete with a hefty cast on her right leg. The injury occurred while Berry was shooting for Cloud Atlas, a film based on David Mitchell’s 2004 novel of the same name. Only the day before, Berry had been spotted in a wheelchair.

The actress is in Spain, where filming is taking place, with daughter Nahla, 3. She has also been joined by French actor and professional celebrity dater Olivier Martinez – the couple have been together for around a year now.

For Cloud Atlas, Berry is working alongside a cast that includes Tom Hanks, Hugh Grant, Susan Sarandon, Hugo Weaving, Jim Sturgess, Ben Whishaw, Keithe David, Jim Broadbent, David Gyasi, Zhou Xun, and Doona Bae. The film is scheduled to appear in the US and Europe around October 2012.
