Christina Aguilera Wants Her Body Back: Singer Vows To Lose 40 Pounds

Christina Aguilera wants her pre-baby body back. Just weeks after giving birth, the “Beautiful” singer has plans to lose 40 pounds, and she wants to do it before her December 18th birthday. That leaves her with little more than three months and two weeks to shed the pounds.

The 33-year-old “Dirrty” songstress gave birth to her daughter Summer Rain on Saturday, August 16, 2014. The father of her baby is fiancé Matt Rutler, a production assistant whom Aguilera met on the set of her film Burlesque. The happy couple has been together since 2010.

According to OK! Magazine, Christina Aguilera must wait six weeks before beginning her vigorous workout routine because she delivered her child via Caesarean section. The new mom wants to exercise for 90 minutes per day while eating a daily allotment of 1,800 calories from protein and vegetables. Although her workouts have to wait, her diet is already in full swing.

“She thinks there’s no time to lose,” an unnamed source told OK! The source confided that Aguilera hopes to pose for Playboy magazine in 2015. “Stripping down is totally her style.”

As Yahoo! noted, Christina Aguilera has stripped down to her birthday suit before. She posed in the buff and showed off her baby bump in V magazine while heavily pregnant and glowing.

Aguilera also has one child with ex-husband Jordan Bratman, a son named Max. The former Mouseketeer and her music consultant hubby were married from 2005-2011. She had filed for divorce in 2013. Bratman and Aguilera were known for their naked Sundays. To spice up their marriage, the couple spent one day a week doing everything in the buff, even cooking naked. There is no word on whether Aguilera and her fiancé are still observing naked Sundays when the kids aren’t around.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, there’s one new workout that has hot singer Nicole Scherzinger proclaiming “I am a viking.” It’s The Viking Workout, and it could help Aguilera shed the baby weight while maintaining muscle, building strength and increasing gracefulness.

The Viking Workout is the brainchild of self-proclaimed fitness fanatic Svava Sigbertsdottir. The London trainer said the program is perfect for women like Scherzinger who want to maintain their “womanly curves,” but it could also help Christina Aguilera lose the pregnancy pounds. According to Sigbertsdottir, The Viking Workout isn’t about attaining a smaller dress size, but a smaller dress size just happens to be a [welcome] side effect of the workout.
