‘American Horror Story’: Freak Show Teases Head To Toe Clip [Video]

Well, it’s another day, and that means we have a new American Horror Story scoop to report on.

Now that we’ve revealed most of the characters on the show thanks to the special poster that popped up on the web, we now have another teaser to bring to fans of American Horror Story. As we reported, this season will follow the cast portraying members of a traveling freak show. The freak show, just like the ones that used to exist back in the day, will feature an ensemble of “unusuals” performing for crowds.

While the teasers are designed to give us a glimpse of what’s to come for the fourth season of the hit FX mini series, we do have a certain idea of where things are going. One of the first teasers American Horror Story released — a video of clawed hands — led us to believe that a lobster boy was being introduced.

This new teaser isn’t as jarring as lobster boy, but it certainly is as intriguing as one would hope. It features a woman lying flat and slowly bending her legs to reach the top of her head — it’s a standard move for someone in that particular setting, but it also has the right amount of creep factor that we all know and love from Ryan Murphy’s spooky series.

As we reported, a recent poster released by FX revealed a bevy of characters that, up until now, had been under wraps. If going by the poster, then Angela Bassett is a three-breasted woman, Kathy Bates is the bearded lady as expected, and Michael Chiklis as well as Evan Peters are strongmen named Wendell Del Toredo and Jimmy Darling. Emma Roberts may just be a contortionist, and then there’s an awfully tall Wes Bentley.

The most information we have on a character is Sarah Paulson’s conjoined twins Bette and Dot. Production has decided to go forward with releasing a still of that character. Our guess is because she’s the most jarring of them all. From what we can see on the poster, there’s no sign of a rumored lobster boy, and the smallest woman, Jyoti Amge didn’t make it into the poster, but then again we don’t know the extent of those roles.

In addition to the series regulars, the show will see a few guest stars including Patti LaBelle, Matt Bomer, and possibly Lea Michele.
