Jennifer Aniston has reportedly suffered a miscarriage that has left the 45-year-old actress devastated as her wedding nears.
Aniston and fiance Justin Theroux are planning to walk the aisle very soon, but before they do the couple reportedly has some heartache to deal with. This week In Touch magazine carried a report claiming that Jen suffered a "crushing heartbreak" when she lost the baby that she and Theroux had been expecting.
The miscarriage had reportedly shattered the dream Jennifer Aniston had of ever becoming a mother.
The news comes as Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are reportedly finalizing details for their wedding. A source told The National Enquirer that they have decided to tie the knot in Greece, which they see as the perfect setting for a quiet ceremony.
"Jennifer loves Greece, and her father is from Crete. She spent many vacations there as a child, so it holds a special place in her heart," the source said. "Two invitations have gone out – one for August and another for September. The real date will be emailed to guests at the appropriate time, so no one will know the exact location until then. Jen feels confident now that she'll be able to say 'I do' in complete privacy."
Not all were believing the Jennifer Aniston miscarriage story, however. The site Gossip Cop, which has called out In Touch magazine in the past for shoddy reporting, claims that the story is "100 percent false.
The site explains:
In Touch lied about Aniston being pregnant in May, and now In Touch is lying its way out of that lie by fabricating a miscarriage.Jennifer Aniston herself hasn't commented on the miscarriage report.
The alleged miscarriage is "completely fabricated," a rep for Aniston tells Gossip Cop exclusively.
By using miscarriage to cover its tracks, In Touch trivializes the very real pain experienced by women who actually miscarry.
It's a pretty disgusting way of selling magazines.
If In Touch had any credibility, it would simply own up to its mistake and say that Aniston wasn't actually pregnant this spring when the outlet falsely claimed she was.
