Kylie Jenner Shows Her Edgy High Fashion Side In ‘V Magazine’ Cover Shoot

Watch out, Kendall! It looks like your baby sister is nipping at your heels. Recently, Kylie Jenner has been involved in some high profile fashion spreads of her own.

Daily Mail reports that Kylie recently wrapped a solo shoot with ‘V’ magazine, and her pictures are absolutely stunning. This shoot is the first of many high fashion shoots that the edgy 17-year-old youngest member of the Kardashian/Jenner empire. In the words of Chelsea White of the Daily Mail:

“Staring down the camera with wet hair falling over her face, heavily lined eyes and long black nails, Kylie Jenner is the perfect edgy model.” -Chelsea White/Daily Mail

Kylie also had a chance to sit down with Chad Pitman of V Magazine to spill the beans on what it is like growing up in front of a national audience:

“We [herself and sister Kendall] don’t even remember a time before the show and before the cameras and all that. It’s all kind of normal to us.”

This shoot points to an official high fashion statement, although the youngest Jenner sister has been active in the fashion industry for quite a while. She also confessed during her interview with V magazine that she’s “obsessed” with Instagram:

“Kendall showed it to me, and my mom was on Twitter before me, so I was kind of the last one in the family to get on social media.”

Indeed, her time spent on Instagram has certainly paid off as her account now boasts 11.5 million followers.

Even Kylie’s older sister Kim has always quick to praise Kylie’s cutting edge style that allows her to stand out in a family obsessed with fashion. It probably doesn’t hurt that Kylie also parties with the likes of Riccardo Tisci of Givenchy fame with her sisters for the designer’s birthday.

Besides being a young fashion icon, Kylie is also an author. She and her sister Kendall have recently published a book titled Rebels: City of Indra: The Story of Lex and Livia. Kylie revealed to V Magazine the inspiration behind the book:

“Originally, we were going to do a book revolving around me and Kendall, maybe high school girls or something like that. Then we decided we wanted to do something that no one expected, like a sci-fi novel. So it actually has nothing to do with our life, and that’s what we wanted.”
