Katie, Suri’s New Home: Holmes Moves Daughter With Tom Cruise Back To Los Angeles

Katie and Suri have a new home in California, leaving New York City behind it seems. Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise reportedly have settled into a new abode in The Oaks area, in Calabasas, but they clearly will not be cramped for space.

TMZ reports that Katie and Suri’s new home has 6,000 square feet of space, and Holmes spent $3,795,000 on it. The pair will have some famous neighbors as Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian live nearby, along with Katherine Jackson’s family and Romeo and Toni Braxton. Though TMZ is reporting details on the deal, apparently it has a confidentiality agreement tied to it, and anyone leaking information could face a $1 million penalty.

It seems that Katie and Suri’s new home is already the pair’s official address as they are said to have already moved in a couple of weeks ago. Though Holmes had been based in New York for the past few years, it seems she thinks that California will be a better place to raise Suri. She also reportedly wants to reboot her career, so being close to Hollywood fits her plans in that regard.

So what’s the scoop on Katie and Suri’s new home? Pop Sugar shares that it has six bedrooms and six-and-a-half bathrooms. It is located on a cul-de-sac and has a formal dining room with floor-to-ceiling windows. The home features dark wood floors, lots of windows and white and gray walls and woodwork. There’s an open layout between the kitchen and living area, and of course, the kitchen is stunning and high-end.

Naturally the house has gorgeous views and a beautiful backyard with a pool, fire pit and a covered entertaining area. The Calabasas home is definitely a change of pace from the type of living Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise experienced in New York City as they now have plenty of space to spread out and play. There is no question this is a gorgeous home where they can stay put for a while. While fans probably shouldn’t expect to see paparazzi shots of Katie and Suri playing with Kourtney, Mason and Penelope anytime soon, it does look like Holmes picked a beautiful home.

As the New York Daily News notes, Holmes can currently be seen in The Giver with a pretty high-profile cast, and she also has Woman in Gold coming up with Ryan Reynolds. Will Katie and Suri’s new home in California provide the opportunity for Holmes to become prominent again in the industry? Fans will have to stay tuned to find out.
