Worldwide Anti-Semitism Rising: Offensive Leaflets In Sydney, Palestinian Gang Attacks Jewish Couple In New York

During the current Gaza war between Hamas and Israel, a massive surge in anti-Semitic attacks have been reported in Europe, America and now as far afield as Sydney, Australia.

On Monday, houses in a predominantly Jewish neighborhood of Sydney received highly offensive leaflets calling on “white Australia” to take action against Jews, as reported by the Algemeiner website.

The report notes that residents of the suburb of Bondi found the hand-delivered fliers slipped under their front doors and in their mailboxes in the morning when they woke. The flyers were vehemently anti-Semitic and claimed that Jews control: “all Hollywood studios and 97% of US newspapers and media.”

It also alleged, “Jews have been kicked out of countries 109 times throughout history… Could it be that having them in a European country is harmful (sic) to the host????”

A Jewish resident of Bondi, who received one of the offensive leaflets, Abraham Blasenstein, told the publication: “It is part of an increase in anti-Semitism that such low people as the ones who issued these flyers feel comfortable coming out of the woodwork.”

Across the world in New York, where over one million Jewish people live, a Jewish couple was accosted and attacked Monday by a group of Palestinians on motorbikes and in cars, carrying PLO flags. The couple was strolling on East 63rd Street near Third Avenue on the Upper East Side.

The New York Post reported that the couple, who were identifiably Jewish, were walking just after 9 p.m. when two cars and several motorbikes approached them. The riders and occupants shouted anti-Semitic slurs and then threw a full water bottle at the woman.

When her husband tried to intervene and protect his wife, he was allegedly punched in the side of the head by a member of the gang who then fled the scene. And this is in New York!

Police have launched an investigation into the hate-crime, but as of Tuesday no arrests have been made, and a profile of the suspects has not been released.

The current wave of anti-Semitism sweeping the world is worrying for the Jewish People. It is less than 75 years since the citizens of several European countries worked tirelessly to eradicate Jews from the face of the Earth. They managed to murder six million, but ran out of time to finish the job.

Hamas and other terrorist Islamic groups, are now trying to complete what the Europeans could’t.
