Henry Cavill Looks Dapper In First Still From ‘The Man From U.N.C.L.E.’

It should come as no surprise that Henry Cavill looks good no matter what he’s wearing. The latest proof is in the first still we get to see from his other movie, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., for which Superman is looking very dapper indeed.

Fans were recently disappointed when Warner Bros. announced that the film’s release date was pushed back to August 14, 2015 (the movie was supposed to be released in January of next year). The summer date seems a better fit as far as the studio is concerned, and they hope to bank off Henry’s increasing popularity.

In the new image, Henry Cavill is seen wearing the suit that we spotted him in when a bunch of photos were posted while The Man from U.N.C.L.E. was in production in Rome. We also see co-stars Armie Hammer (The Lone Ranger) and Alicia Vikander (Anna Karenina).

We recently got information from Henry Cavill News that Cavill had flown to England, joining his co-stars, to do some reshoots and ADR for the movie, and maybe this is one of the images that came out of that visit. Henry certainly looks as buff as we have seen him on set for Batman v Superman, where he plays Superman.

Photos of Henry Cavill’s reshoot have surfaced and been posted on different publications and on social media. Here is one of them:

Last October, The Inquisitr reported on some behind the scenes pics taken during the filming of The Man from U.N.C.L.E. in Rome.

And here is the new still released on Monday, showing Henry Cavill, Armie Hammer, and Alicia Vikander posing for The Man from U.N.C.L.E.:

Dan Westwood — who served as Henry Cavill’s body double in The Man from U.N.C.L.E. — shared with the fan website a funny tidbit about the difficulties the costume department was having with Henry’s continued increase in size:

“Oh, and the costume department were telling me that they were having a nightmare with Henry as he kept getting bigger & bigger throughout the filming. He was starting to get back in shape for Superman, to the point where they made him stop as none of his suits fit him properly anymore, as they’re very fitted at that!!”

Ah, the problems of movie stars. The Man from U.N.C.L.E. is a remake of the 1960s television series for which Henry Cavill stars as American agent Napoleon Solo and Armie Hammer plays his Russian counterpart, Illya Kuryakin, as they join the United Network Command for Law Enforcement to fight the evil forces, especially THRUSH.
