The 2014 MTV Video Music Awards aired on Sunday night, August 24 in Inglewood, California. The actual broadcast was not hosted by any one celebrity but was filled with a lot of famous faces and presenters in addition to several big performances, including the highly-anticipated 15-minute performance by the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard recipient Beyoncé.
