‘Big Brother 16’ Spoilers: The Week 9 POV Results Are Revealed

Donny Thompson of 'Big Brother 16'

Week 9 of Big Brother 16 is chugging along, and fans are anxious to know how things are falling into place. Nicole earned her way back into the house Thursday night, and fans were hoping that the power in the house would shift a bit. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like that’s going to be happening.

Big Brother spoilers have revealed that Cody won the week 9 Head of Household competition, and he nominated Donny and Nicole. Those nominations definitely do not come as a surprise. The only surprising thing that has come about since Thursday’s show was a brief medical emergency. Victoria was found on the floor of the bathroom after struggling with tooth pain, and she received medical attention in the Diary Room. She has since returned to the house, but she wasn’t allowed to play in the Power of Veto competition.

Donny Thompson has a fantastic record in POV competitions this season, and he really needed to pull out a win Saturday. Did he do it? Unfortunately, Big Brother Network shared the Big Brother spoilers that Donny didn’t manage to win this one. Cody won, so he is in a similar position to where Frankie Grande was last week: he’s the HOH and POV holder, so he has a great deal of power.

Cody was tinkering with the idea of backdooring Frankie, but of course Derrick quickly nipped that idea in the bud. As the Power of Veto winner, Cody got the opportunity to check out the premiere of the new CBS show Scorpion. He was able to bring two houseguests with him to the second HOH room to watch, and he took Nicole and Donny.

Donny has been working hard to try to find a way to stay in the house this week as he definitely is the primary target. As Buddy TV notes, Big Brother spoilers from the live feeds have revealed that Donny told Frankie and Derrick that the Team America challenge is to come up with their own challenge, and he has suggested that the challenge be to keep him in the house so Team America can stay together. Donny has also tried to get Cody to see the wisdom in making a big move against someone else, but he’s not getting far. He’s worked hard to turn things around, but it doesn’t seem to be working.

The Power of Veto ceremony will take likely take place on Monday. At this point, it looks likely that Cody will leave the nominations the same and Donny will be headed to the jury. Fans will certainly be hoping that Big Brother spoilers develop that indicates there is a shift ahead. Stay tuned for additional BB16 spoilers as the POV ceremony draws near and the firm eviction plans for week 9 on Big Brother 16 are set.
