Sony releases new Uncharted: Golden Abyss video walkthrough

Attendees at the Tokyo Game Show are currently being treated to two levels from Uncharted: Golden Abyss, the PlayStation Vita-exclusive chapter in the Uncharted saga.

For those of us unfortunate enough to not be able to attend TGS, Sony was kind enough to release an 11-minute video showcasing highlights from both of the levels on display, all narrated by John Garvin, writer and director of Uncharted: Golden Abyss.

Despite the fact that Uncharted: Golden Abyss is played on a smaller, comparatively less powerful machine, it looks like not much was lost in Uncharted‘s transition over to the handheld; the graphics are still outstanding, and the same sort of epic setpieces found throughout the Uncharted series are in full effect.

No release date has been announced for Uncharted: Golden Abyss – neither has there been a release date for the PlayStation Vita outside of Japan – but it’s rumored that it will launch alongside the handheld in North America and Europe.
