January Jones Gives Birth To Healthy Baby Boy

Mad Men actress January Jones has given birth to a healthy baby boy named Xander Dane Jones.

The baby boy was born on Tuesday and her rep says “Mom and baby are doing great.”

Speaking with KRQ radio-show hosts Johnjay and Rich the actress said “I’m having a hard time” while adding “I’m looking for boy and girl names, obviously, because it’s going to be a surprise for me,”

Jones continued:

“I love Cary Grant, I like Marilyn Monroe. That seems kind of like a celebrity thing to do, those weird names. I’m not really into that. I don’t want to be too cliché about it.”

Jones announced that she was pregnant in April but refused to name the father, a person who still remains unknown at this time.

A source speaking to People magazine says of the new born bundle of joy:

“She’s really looking forward to this new chapter in her life as a single mom.”

There’s a possibility that a father was never involved, Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner told US Weekly that she has wanted a baby “very badly” for quite some time now. Weiner told people “She’s got a big heart and she’s been talking about having children since I met her, which is not always common with actresses,” adding, “I think she’s going to be amazing.”
