‘Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice’ Animated Teaser Trailer Released [Video]

Remember the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice teaser trailer only those who were at Comic Con saw? Well, the producers are making something special, for those who were not inside Hall H at the San Diego comics convention last month in the way of an animated clip.

Complete with the written dialogue of old Batman movies and series, the clip is almost exactly identical to the one we saw at Comic Con. It shows Ben Affleck, as Batman, turning on his Bat-signal on a rainy night in Gotham City, only to find Henry Cavill, as Superman, descending upon him.

Warner Bros. said the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice teaser trailer seen at Comic Con will not be released to the public at large, so we will have to wait and see what else is shared. But the animated trailer has one other character not seen in the original teaser, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman.

If you recall, before any teaser trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was released, director Zack Snyder had some teasers of his own. He teased fans on Twitter, posting a photo of Henry Cavill in what looked like a Star Wars Jedi costume. Now we know that the black robe seen in the photo is just a disguise to cover his Superman costume, but it was pretty cool anyway.

The #SuperJedi photo was followed by one of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’s Batman and the last one, to make fans even more excited for the Comic Con panel, showed us a first look at Gadot’s Wonder Woman.

Reaction to Gadot’s costume was mixed, with some loving it and accepting that the Israeli-born actress was after all a good Wonder Woman for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and others who criticized this completely different look, more similar to Xena the Warrior Princess, than what we are used to for Wonder Woman.

Several videos showing Ben Affleck as an aging Bruce Wayne have been posted by fans who are close to where Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is filming in Detroit. Thanks to those few lucky ones we are able to get an idea of what the new Batman looks like. Affleck recently defended his casting for the part and assured fans that he would make the best of it.
