Mariah Carey Divorce: Nick Cannon Moves Out Of Couple’s Home
Mariah Carey is headed for divorce according to a new report. The singer and her husband, Nick Cannon, have been spending a lot of time separately, and according to The New York Post, Cannon has already moved out of the couple’s home. There have been several rumors about the state of Mariah and Nick’s marriage, but at this point, it does seem as though something is going on.
News of a split comes just a few months after it was reported that Mariah hired security to go to Las Vegas with Cannon and keep him in check. She didn’t want him near women — and she didn’t want him drinking too much alcohol.
“He hasn’t been staying at their home. He’s been living out of hotels. They’re fighting a lot.”
Other signs that Mariah Carey is ready for divorce include her usage of social media. Generally speaking, Mariah usually posts pictures and other tweets about her husband. As the report points out, Mariah has not posted anything about Cannon since June. Also? The two have not been photographed together in “months.”
It is clear, however, that the couple isn’t ready to make any kind of announcement just yet. On Monday, Cannon was at New York City’s Tao Downtown with his wedding ring on. While sources say he didn’t stay very long, he had a smile on his face, and seemed to have a great time. Naturally this could have been some great acting.
Mariah Carey will announce her split (and possible divorce) from Nick Cannon later this week according to Woman’s Day. The news comes as a bit of a shock, given the fact that the couple renewed their wedding vows just last year in Disneyland. Mariah and Nick got married in 2008.
Another Carey split made news this year. According to The Inquisitr, Mariah recently parted ways with her long-time producer Jermaine Dupri. The diva was not happy that her last album flopped, and reportedly blamed that on Dupri, and so she got rid of him. Although Dupri has been behind many of Carey’s chart-topping hits, his work didn’t perform this time, so Mariah bid him adieu. It is unknown if the two are still friends outside of the business, or if things ended bitterly between them.
As far as the divorce rumors go, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon’s reps wouldn’t comment on the matter and couldn’t be reached for comment respectively. Do you think the two will end up splitting? Are you surprised to hear the rumors?
