Milla Jovovich Is Pregnant
The Inquisitr recently reported that actress Milla Jovovich was doing everything in her power to get her second baby with her husband Paul Anderson. It seems Milla finally got her wish. Jovovich announced via her Facebook page that she is, indeed, pregnant.
Jovovich’s husband is the producer for the Resident Evil films that Milla is best known for. E! Online reported that filming on any future Resident Evil movies will have to be delayed due to Jovovich’s pregnancy. Milla won’t be able to travel to South Africa to start filming just yet.
Milla Jovovich sent out the following message on her fan page:
“This was originally going to be a post to tell you how excited I am about flying to Cape Town, South Africa to begin working on Resident Evil: The Final Chapter. But… My husband Paul and I just discovered that we are expecting another baby!!!”
The filming schedule would have to be pushed back significantly, because the Resident Evil shoot would require some very physically demanding stunts from Milla Jovovich. That kind of intense activity would be dangerous and difficult for a pregnant woman. Milla went on to explain the situation to her fans:
“So after a lot of discussion, we thought it would be in everyone’s best interest to wait till the baby is born before we set out to try and tackle an RE movie. Between the stunt work and what will become my ever-expanding belly, we didn’t think pregnancy and zombie killing are the best combo! Lol! I imagine the only thing I’ll be killing in the near future is an endless supply of cupcakes. Yikes…”
According to Us Magazine, Milla Jovovich and her husband Paul met on the set of the first Resident Evil film in 2002. This is Milla’s second pregnancy. Milla and Anderson brought Ever Gabo Anderson into the world in November of 2007. They got married in 2009.
Milla Jovovich ended her Facebook post with a big thank you to all her fans for supporting her and the Resident Evil films.
“Before I go, i want to also send one more HUGE thank you out to all my amazing fans who have been so patient waiting for the next installment of the RE franchise! YOU ROCK!” she wrote. “Thanks so much for understanding everyone! All the best!”
