Portia De Rossi Puts The Kibosh On Divorce Rumors With Sweet Anniversary Message For Ellen DeGeneres
Over the last few weeks, rumors have heated up about Portia De Rossi’s impending divorce to Ellen DeGeneres. Reasons for their divorce have ranged from cheating allegations, to baby drama, and even reports that brought up De Rossi’s eating disorder as an issue in their marriage.
However, it seems that Portia De Rossi is putting the kibosh on the divorce gossip, as she surprised her wife Ellen DeGeneres with a very sweet message on their anniversary.
This wasn’t a video message that could go viral, but something on a smaller scale. De Rossi decided to have a message written in the sky to celebrate the couple’s six years together. Ellen DeGeneres looked every bit like the happy wife as she shared a photo posing with Portia with the sky writing in view. The writing spelled out “six” to celebrate their years married.

When Ellen shared the photo, she had many fans lifting her and Portia up with positivity.

Instead of staying quiet about the divorce rumors, Ellen has been injecting some of her humor whenever she chooses to address the constant gossip.
While on Jimmy Kimmel’s show she said, “I read that we were getting divorced, and I went and told [De Rossi], and she was said. We were both so sad.”
Later on, she told People magazine about her marriage with Portia:
“The truth is, and this is corny, I fall more in love with Portia all the time.”
These rumors really seemed to explode again when excerpts were released from Hollywood biographer Randy Jernigan’s new tell-all. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, who had an advanced copy of the book, these are a few excerpts worth noting.
“He claims that Ellen has battled depression and mood swings in the past, which has led her to become extremely controlling of Portia and those close to her.”
Jernigan also claims that, “both Ellen and Portia have always had a ‘tumultuous marriage’, and both of them have cheated on each other in the past.”
Looks like Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi are ignoring these pesky rumors and basking in their happiness. After all, they have many supporters in their corner.
