Kailyn Lowry’s Son Takes Ice Bucket Challenge In Cutest Video

As we have reported several times before, the ice bucket challenge to benefit the ALS Foundation has been taking the United States by storm with everyone from professional athletes to politicians to movie stars getting in on the challenge.

The latest may be the youngest ice bucket challenger and he is someone reality television viewers may know well.

Isaac Lowry, the oldest son of “Teen Mom 2” star Kailyn Lowry, took the ice bucket challenge (as soon above) and did it in the cutest way possible.

Cambio reports that Kailyn Lowry’s son is just the latest Teen Mom star to take part in the challenge.

“Challenge accepted!

“Teen Mom 2 stars Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin both participated in the ALS ice bucket challenge over the weekend and Javi (who was nominated by Maci Bookout’s boyfriend Taylor) decided to nominate Kail’s oldest son, Isaac.

“In the adorable video, Isaac thanks Javi for nominating him and then he nominates three of his buddies, including fellow Teen Mom tot Aubree Houska. Aubree’s mom, Chelsea, was challenged by Kailyn as was fellow franchise star Maci Bookout.”

Cambio said the three have so far not responded to the challenge, but that could all change.

Kailyn Lowry’s son taking the ice bucket challenge is perhaps the cutest, but not the most extreme example of the challenge.

Paul Bissonnette, a former National Hockey League player, climbed one of Canada’s most beautiful peaks and had freezing cold glacier water dumped on him from a helicopter while he sported a Speedo.

And while the ice bucket challenge has been blowing up the Internet, the Boston Globe is reminding readers to remember the reason Kailyn Lowry’s son and others are taking part in the challenge.

“So maybe, if all these videos had a little more to do with actual ALS, they would feel less discordant.

“There’s still so much we don’t know about ALS: Mao Zedong is suspected to have died of it. Stephen Hawking has a disease related to it. There was an epidemic of ALS in Guam that was linked to eating flying fox bats. Gulf War veterans, Italian soccer players, and NFL football players all have a higher rates of ALS — but we’re not really sure why.

“So you know what isn’t trite about tens of thousands of goons dumping ice on their heads and shouting about it on the Internet? The millions of dollars it has raised for research to help get us a little closer to cracking the code. That will be what changes lives long after the last ice cube hits the pavement.”
