One Direction Sings ‘Teenage Dirtbag’ Live, Fans Demand Studio Version

Many One Direction fans were so excited to hear the boys sing a live cover of “Teenage Dirtbag” that it started trending on Twitter. And a lot were demanding that the band release a studio version of the song soon.

And some fans were a little upset that One Direction did not sing “Teenage Dirtbag” at the concert they attended.

The concert took place in Detroit, Michigan at Ford Field. Many thought it wouldn’t happen because of the rumor of the possible “purge” that was rumored to start in Louisville, Kentucky before making its way to Detroit. According to Hollywood Life, some One Direction fans took to Twitter to express their concern about the possible “purge,” and how they were supposed to be in Detroit for the concert.

Fortunately, no “purge” actually took place, and the person who started the rumor has been arrested, according to a related report from The Inquisitr.

The original version of “Teenage Dirtbag” was sung by Wheatus and was the lead single for their self-titled debut album. Many One Direction fans have commented on the music video’s YouTube page saying things such as Wheatus’ version “sucks” compared to the boy band’s version.

Now that this concert has passed, the One Direction fans who didn’t get to attend want the boys to sing “Teenage Dirtbag” at the concert they are attending.
