A Dog Balances 100 Fruits And Vegatables On His Head In This Oddly Hypnotic 100 Second Video

Maymo the lemon beagle is somewhat of an internet sensation. The dog has his own Youtube channel that has over 53,000 subscribers and over 30 million hits to date. One particular video is oddly hypnotic; in the video, Maymo the dog balances 100 fruits and vegetables on his head.

Maymo’s Youtube channel is described by his owner as:

“Maymo is a seriously funny lemon beagle dog made famous by his extremely cute and derpy activities. His videos have appeared on major television shows and websites.”

The channel also notes that the dog’s favorite drink is coconut water and his favorite toy is a battery-operated mouse. The dog is three years old and has been featured in 65 different viral videos to date.

In the most recent video, the dog balances a variety of fruits and vegetables on his head. His owner notes that the video compilation took an astonishing four months to complete. The video was inspired by Irish hat designer Philip Treacy with many of the vegetables placed on the head to replicate some of his hats. However, Maymo’s owner notes that some of the fruits and vegetables just look downright ridiculous placed on Maymo’s head.

The interesting part of the video – aside from the obvious absurdity of the whole thing – is the vegetables and fruits used. Many commenters on the video point out that some people may not even know what some of the vegetables are with people’s plates being limited to grocery market fair. The video, though a little wacky, is a great introduction to a variety of unusual vegetables and fruits such as kale and purple cauliflower.
