‘Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice’ First Look At Amy Adams As Lois Lane [Photos]

Slowly, but surely, more Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice cast members are making an appearance on the streets of Detroit, where director Zack Snyder has set up shop for the last week. Amy Adams was spotted for the first time on Wednesday.

Adams is reprising her role from Man of Steel as intrepid reporter, Lois Lane, who uncovers Superman’s true identity and keeps it quiet when she realizes that it would be worse to give him away. The 39-year-old Golden Globe winner (American Hustle) was cast opposite British actor Henry Cavill as Superman in the original.

We have seen plenty of photos of Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne, Batman’s human persona, in the past few days, but not much of anyone else until now. Henry Cavill is still missing from the set of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice as he reportedly returned to London to do ADR for his new film The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and involve himself with some charitable work.

It is not clear how big of a part this will be for Amy Adams as Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has turned into to the precursor of Justice League. We may have to wait and see if any of those nine DC movies announced by Warner Bros. is a true Man of Steel sequel, which will explore more in terms of the relationship between Clark/Superman and Lois.

Man of Steel’s Lois Lane is more aware than most of her predecessors and wants to get ahead at the Daily Planet by impressing her boss, Perry White (Laurence Fishburne). However, when she discovers this “superhuman,” she opts to keep his secret, but aids him in his goal to defeat the evil General Zod (Michael Shannon) and in the process is swept off her feet, literally.

Amy Adams was seen sporting a trench coat and had an assistant carry an umbrella to protect her from the elements. Heavy rain has affected the area for the last couple of days, but this didn’t mean Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice filming was interrupted. Adams was seen making some pretty funny faces.
