As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Robin Williams’ wife, Susan Schneider, released a statement not long after the news broke of her husband’s death asking for privacy during this difficult time.

“This morning, I lost my husband and my best friend, while the world lost one of its most beloved artists and beautiful human beings. I am utterly heartbroken. On behalf of Robin’s family, we are asking for privacy during our time of profound grief. As he is remembered, it is our hope the focus will not be on Robin’s death, but on the countless moments of joy and laughter he gave to millions.”

Meanwhile, fans are still in shock by the fact that Robin Williams would end his life, and that a man who brought so much joy to others was secretly struggling with so much internal pain and depression. Some reports suggest that the actor was hurting over his struggling career, while others have blamed his substance abuse problems.
