George Clooney Wedding Details: Armani Fits Clooney For Tux, Photos Could Be In Vogue

George Clooney is getting married in the coming weeks and new details about his big day have been revealed! According to Harper’s Bazaar, Clooney and his bride-to-be, Amal Alamuddin, will be tying the knot in Italy. The two are rumored to also be planning a ceremony in London at a later date. Preparations are already underway for the wedding of the century. While there has not been any word on what the bride might be wearing, the event is expected to be fashion forward. Not surprisingly, Clooney and his groomsmen (Brad Pitt?) will be wearing Armani tuxedos.

“Giorgio Armani’s design team visited Clooney’s Lake Como estate, reportedly to fit Clooney and the groomsmen in tuxes for the wedding.”

George Clooney has quite the guest list with plenty of celebrity friends set to watch him give up his bachelor status. According to SeattlePI, Vogue’s editor-in-chief Anna Wintour is set to attend — which suggests that there will be wedding photos in an upcoming issue. Of course this isn’t Clooney’s style… but maybe he wants to share parts of his special day with the world, who knows? It’s not like he needs the money, but a Clooney wedding certainly is major — and the man looks great in a tux.

Sources say that there’s no way Wintour would attend the wedding and not cover it. While Clooney and Alamuddin might not pull a Kim and Kanye cover, many expect to see at least one photo of the newlyweds in an upcoming spread. And naturally that suggests that Alamuddin’s dress is going to be high fashion and a-mazing.

George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin already got their marriage license. As previously reported by The Inquisitr, the two applied for said license in London, where Alamuddin lives. After getting approved, it is customary for the information to be made public by way of a notice posted outside of Chelsea Old Town Hall. This notice revealed that the two were to be married in Italy, but nothing more. A wedding date has yet to be confirmed, though several media outlets are screaming September.

While George might not be a show-off, you can imagine just how many big names will be witnessing his “I do’s.” He’s one of the biggest names in Hollywood, and with such a successful career under his belt, he knows a lot of people. Guests aside from Wintour have not been confirmed, but you can probably guess who will be in attendance. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are at the top of the “guess” list.
