MMA Fighter War Machine On The Run After Allegedly Beating Up Porn Star GF Christy Mack

War Machine, the Mixed Martial Artist identity of one Jonathan Koppenhaver, is on the run after allegedly beating and severely injuring his porn star girlfriend, Christy Mack.

TMZ reports that Christy Mack’s ability to speak is almost non-existent following the early Friday morning beating in the Las Vegas home she shares with War Machine, the primary suspect for the assault.

While an inability to speak is already a strong indicator of severe injuries, sources close to the situation emphasized that the assault allegedly unleashed by War Machine has left Ms. Mack in “very bad shape” and also fearing for her life.

According to a Christy Mack representative, details on what exactly occurred or caused the altercation is unclear. At the same time, the reason for scant details is because of Christy Mack’s injuries.

The representative also told TMZ that Christy Mack’s friends and family are prepared to offer a $5000 reward to anyone that provides information to police to help track down the renegade mixed martial artist, War Machine.

“We just want to find him (War Machine),” said the Christy Mack representative. “We are all very scared.”

Las Vegas police, meanwhile, say they are not aware of any reward.

TMZ had previously reported that, according to police, there were three people involved in the violent incident, including War Machine. Two of the three received brutal, though non-life threatening injuries that landed them in the hospital. Police described one of the victims as War Machine’s “significant other,” presumably Christy Mack, though police wouldn’t release names at the time.

War Machine has been missing ever since.

Though her ability to speak has been compromised, Christy Mack has still been able to tweet, denying rumors that she was caught “banging some MMA fighter” behind War Machine’s back:

At the same time, Christy Mack hasn’t divulged any details on what happened which is not unusual in domestic violence cases due to all the variables of any looming legal proceedings, charges, and potential lawsuits.

Unfortunately for Christy Mack fans, her injuries have also forced her cancellation of an event scheduled for this weekend:

As for War Machine, while he has so far been able to allude authorities, his whereabouts apparently weren’t needed for Bellator, the organization War Machine fights for and represents since his departure from the UFC, to cancel his contract.

MMA Fighting reports that new Bellator President Scott Coker released the following statement late Friday night:

“We have a zero tolerance policy here at Bellator when it relates to any form of domestic violence, and after learning of this latest incident involving Jon Koppenhaver, War Machine, Bellator is releasing him from him promotional contract with the organization.”

War Machine previously found legal trouble in San Diego in 2010, arrested for assault after a bar brawl that earned him a one-year jail sentence.
