Duck Dynasty ratings might not be at an all-time high, but that doesn’t mean that the show is going off the air. In fact, Phil Robertson and his family plan on bringing their lives into your living room for quite some time. According to The Western Journal, Phil’s son, Willie Robertson, recently opened up about the success of the show, and how the fans keep things going regardless of what controversy might be lurking around the next corner.
“We are continuously blown away at the overwhelming response from our fans and as long as they continue to enjoy the show and it’s message, we’ll bring them more to watch.”
Duck Dynasty has been very successful over the past six seasons. In fact, network executive David McKillop says the fact that the show has made it this far is impressive. A&E is already ready to go with a seventh season, and it has been reported that there could be several spin-offs offered to existing cast members, making the franchise even bigger.
According to The Inquisitr, some people had been pointing fingers at Phil Robertson due to the lower ratings this season. Some believe that the controversy surround the Robertson patriarch has caused people to stop watching, thus the dip in ratings. That, however, doesn’t seem to be the case at all. People may have stopped watching the show for many different reasons — and the ratings are still great… even if they aren’t phenomenal.
Fans of Duck Dynasty are happy to know that the show is still doing well — and things keep moving in a positive direction. According to FOX News, the Robertsons, who already have several items on the market, will soon be launching a truck tire line.
“A collaboration with TBC Brands and Harris Tire, the off-road rubber will be available in all terrain and mud terrain styles, both featuring the Duck Commander name and logo, along with a duck feather motif molded into the sidewall.”
The actual tire design is set to be revealed on August 12. It seems like this family really is unstoppable, even if some of them tend to get in trouble with their mouths from time to time.
It’s clear that nothing is stopping Phil Robertson or his family from having success. No matter how much people want to hate them or see them fail, they have this whole fame and fortune thing? On lock.
