‘RHONJ’: Jacqueline Laurita Hired Back After Serious Ratings Dip

The Real Housewives Of New Jersey isn’t having the best season ratings-wise, and Bravo isn’t happy about it. And so, they’re doing something about it. According to TMZ, Bravo has rehired Jacqueline Laurita. Teresa Giudice’s former BFF has reportedly signed a contract to rejoin the show full time. It’s unknown how many episodes of the current season Laurita will be featured in, but it sounds like she is back on indefinitely for Season 7. Apparently Laurita left the show because of personal issues with her family — not because Bravo fired her. And now? She’s back.

Jacqueline hasn’t mentioned her return on social media, but she has hinted at wanting to go back to RHONJ, with a few “never say never” tweets.

Jacqueline Laurita had a very rough time on Housewives especially when she and Teresa Giudice ended their friendship. Things certainly weren’t all rainbows and butterflies on the show, but a little break can do a lot of good. According to WetPaint, Jacqueline and Teresa’s friendship will be a highlight when filming resumes. The two are said to be “friendly” and they text every now and again. As the gossip site points out, however, friendly doesn’t necessarily mean that the two are actually friends.

“Friendly, but maybe not that close, since they are now spending their time on different TV projects. And they are both busy with their families, etc. The TV show seems to keep people together, but it also sometimes breaks their relationships apart.”

Jacqueline Laurita has gone through some private financial problems that included a tax lien and possible foreclosure. As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Jacqueline and her husband, Chris, have been dealing with their own slew of problems since they stopped filming Housewives— so maybe they could use the money, who knows?

Many fans are thrilled to hear that Jacqueline is coming back to RHONJ. Apparently her sister-in-law, Dina Manzo, isn’t too thrilled, but it is what it is. Jac will also be appearing on her other sister-in-law Caroline Manzo’s new show, Manzo’d With Children which premieres on Bravo in the fall.
