Paulina Gretzky: Wedding With Dustin Johnson May Canceled After Wayne Gretzky Steps In

Paulina Gretzky and Dustin Johnson are in trouble with the Great One.

Paulina’s dad, hockey legend Wayne Gretzky, has reportedly given Johnson a very stern warning after the PGA golfer was suspended after testing positive for cocaine. Reports indicated that Wayne Gretzky even threatened to put the brakes on the couple’s upcoming wedding unless Johnson cleans up his act, Fox411 reported.

Paulina Gretzky started dating Dustin Johnson in 2012, and last year he announced they were engaged.

Johnson officially announced their engagement on Instagram, writing: “She said yes!!!”

The couple had planned to get married in the fall, but called off those plans in May due to Johnson’s busy golf schedule.

But that was also around the same time that the PGA instituted a secret suspension for Dustin Johnson after his third failed drug test. He also tested positive for marijuana in 2009 and for cocaine in 2012, Golf.com reported.

Johnson took responsibility for his latest failed test, saying that he was dealing with “personal challenges” and vowing to get help.

“I will use this time to seek professional help for personal challenges I have faced,” he said in a statement issued by his management company. “By committing the time and resources necessary to improve my mental health, physical well-being and emotional foundation, I am confident that I will be better equipped to fulfill my potential and become a consistent champion.”

But Dustin Johnson may have more trouble with Paulina Gretzky and her dad Wayne. Golf.com reported that he is known as a ladies’ man, and even had an affair with a fellow golfer’s wife.

“Johnson’s conduct has long been a topic of conversation among close observers of the Tour. He is often seen in bars near his home in Jupiter, Fla., and is also known to have had a sexual indiscretion with at least one wife of a PGA Tour player,” the report noted.

Paulina Gretzky has not spoken publicly about Dustin Johnson’s suspension, and neither has her father.
