‘RHOA’ Star NeNe Leakes Claims People Are Trying To Sabotage Her Career

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes is no stranger to working hard for her money. Over the past year, she has been filming in Atlanta with Bravo, filming The New Normal and Glee in Los Angeles, has been planning her second wedding, and has been putting together a clothing line. This woman knows what she wants.

But NeNe isn’t getting all of the support that she wants. These successful Real Housewives stars are often talking about how women need to support one another and stick together. But Leakes is finding that some women are not supporting her. She thinks that a few people are trying to sabotage her, including talk show host Wendy Williams.

According to a new report, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes claims that she has never had a problem with Williams. Her hostility is coming out of nowhere. Wendy has slammed NeNe’s performance on Dancing With The Stars, and has attacked her fashion choices.

“The thing with Wendy Williams has been going on for a long time. I did not know where it was coming from,” Leakes explains. The talk show host recently went after NeNe for getting a personalized handbag. Wendy’s attack on NeNe seems rather rude, considering Leakes invested $3,200 in a Celine handbag for Wendy’s 500th show as a celebration gift.

“I helped her and supported her and then all of a sudden it just switched on me. She started saying things about me. And I know Wendy does a lot of gossiping…that’s how she started her career. But to just start sabotaging me. I felt like she wanted to sabotage my career because she was really saying nasty things about me. And I have done nothing to Wendy. So for me…it was not about the bag,” Leakes explains.

But NeNe Leakes has plenty of things to be proud of. She has recently confirmed that she is heading back to The Real Housewives of Atlanta to film the next season. Last season, NeNe had the largest paycheck out of all the women in the Real Housewives franchise, and one can imagine that she isn’t going down in price.

It is uncertain whether NeNe has worked out her issues with Cynthia Bailey. They used to be best friends, but on the reunion special, Leakes hinted that things were not good. Cynthia agreed, telling Andy Cohen that some things were just not worth fixing. According to The Inquisitr, NeNe Leakes had been calling out people on Twitter for lying. While many thought she was talking about Cynthia and her broken friendships, the tweets could have been about Wendy Williams.
