Selena Gomez Reportedly Headed Back To Rehab After Nearly Overdosing

Selena Gomez could be headed to her second rehab stint in the past few months as sources close to the actress claim that she has fallen into a spiral of drugs and alcohol that culminated in a near overdose.

Selena completed a rehab stint earlier this year, a visit she said was needed to “save myself.”

But now In Touch Weekly reports that Selena Gomez has turned to hard drugs again, and recently had a scare when she nearly overdosed. The source indicated that the scare could have Selena headed back to rehab.

Some believe that model Cara Delevigne may have a bad influence on Selena Gomez.

“They’ve got really close, but Selena’s pals know Cara has a wild side, and they’re desperate to keep Selena sober – she’s vulnerable, especially as her on-off romance with Justin Bieber ended a few weeks ago. Selena is still getting herself back together post-rehab, and friends fear Cara might be a bad influence,” a source told the British magazine Closer.

The report comes as it appears Selena Gomez has contemplated settling down and having a family of her own.

The pop star posted a picture on Instagram with her new baby sister Gracie, showing the two girls sitting at a piano together. Selena captioned the picture “the future.”

While it’s not clear whether Selena Gomez is envisioning herself as a mother soon or if she just sees little sister Gracie as the generation of the future, it seems that the pop star is ready to leave behind her wild life and settle down.

Reports indicated that Selena was embarrassed to see her ex Jutsin Bieber get into a spat with actor Orlando Bloom in Ibiza, Spain, last week. Sources claimed that Justin taunted Orlando, claiming that he had hooked up with Orlando’s ex-wife Miranda Kerr back when the pair was still married.

A source told HollywoodLife that Orlando Bloom has even given Selena Gomez some advice on how to keep her life free of distractions.

“In Orlando’s Buddhist practice, there is a saying about turning poison into medicine and this is what he shared with Selena,” the source said, adding, “To take something negative and turn it into something positive, and that’s pretty much what Selena has been doing.”

Selena Gomez has not offered comment on the latest rehab rumor.
