Selena Gomez Blames Fender Bender On Paparazzi

Selena Gomez had a bit of an accident in a parking lot, and the pop diva blamed the paparazzi for it. It seems the press can’t get enough of Miss Gomez, especially after her on and off history with Justin Bieber.

Bieber is simply either the boy we love, or the one we love to hate, and Gomez seems to be taking the split in remarkable stride. He probably launched her career just by association, but now she is taking off on her own and attempting to take Hollywood when she’s not recording her latest album and promoting it.

Of course Gomez’ on-screen history is already getting some attention from critics, who gave Rotten Tomatoes its first ever zero percent rating for a movie. Could Bieber still be affecting her that much, or is the press simply giving her the same attention because of him and making small accidents and problems into major stories?

This past weekend Selena Gomez was out with her friends in Studio City running errands and the like in her SUV, when she tried backing out of a parking space and hit the car next to her. The accident wasn’t serious, and the owner of the car will probably want her to fix the dents and scratches, if any.

That shouldn’t be a problem for mega-star Gomez, though she took to Twitter following the accident and kept the message positive as she laid blame for what was probably the distraction that caused it. She called them “men with cameras who have great careers” and seemingly laughed it off as typical life in Los Angeles.

It appears Gomez has a mastery over keeping things positive, even after recent insults on Instagram incited her unique style of rage. She replied by telling them to basically grow up, and then proceeded to throw them compliments, because that’s the message she wants to spread.

Most celebrities don’t usually end their angry replies on a positive note, and Selena Gomez’ paparazzi slam is no exception. Instead of getting into a yelling match over the car accident like most of us would, she laughed it off and threw them an ounce of positivity.

Gomez went about the rest of the day without any issues, but if she blamed the right people for what happened it seems the paparazzi are taking their job a little too far. Are the “men with cameras” to blame, or was Selena Gomez simply joking about them?
