Miley Cyrus Gets Cover Of Prestige Magazine [September 2011 Issue]

Miley Cyrus is all grown up and looking gorgeous on the cover of Prestige Magazine’s September 2011 issue (out now). The Disney star formerly of Hannah Montana can be spotted wearing Gucci with a hot new haircut and backless top.

Speaking to the magazine the 18-year-old singer says she’s still hooked into her Southern roots, revealing:

“I’m not a big fan of LA, I’ve got to be honest. I like being able to work here, but any chance to go back home [to Tennessee], I love it. People really take life for granted in California. It makes me sad sometimes. So I have to give myself that reality check every once in a while and go back home.”

Miley also reveals to Prestige magazine that she doesn’t miss her work on Hannah Montana but that she misses the fun times and family environment the show offered. She says of missing the show:

“No [laughs]. I miss the family vibe, but I don’t miss the routine at all. I was so bored doing the same thing every day. It’s a lot easier not being on a show, to live my life a little bit and do some of the others thing that I want to do, I don’t have to be back at a certain time. You’re not worrying about a cast schedule or what the producers are going to think.

Cyrus continues that doing the show was a great time and that she was grateful for the opportunity, however she says she warns her 11-year-old sister who wants to act that she should wait a while and not become pigeonholed into one thing for the rest of her life.
