Jennifer Huston: Search For Missing Oregon Mom Yields No Clues, Family Pleads For Her Return

Jennifer Huston was supposed to be running a few errands on July 24, but instead the mother of two vanished without a trace, leaving her family and the entire Oregon community perplexed.

Search crews have combed the area for the 38-year-old Huston, who was last seen getting gas at a Circle K in the town of Newberg.

Now family members are making public calls for Jennifer Huston to come home if she is able.

“Jennifer, if you could see this or hear this, I love you,” said her husband, Kallen Huston. “You have a ton of support from the community. If you can come home, please do. The boys need you. I need you. I love you.

“We’ll never stop looking for you.”

Kallen had told police that Jennifer seemed stressed out before leaving that day. She was seen at a Rite-Aid, where she bought Gatorade, trail mix, and sleeping aids.

After getting gas she turned of her phone, something her husband said was quite unusual.

“Anyone who knows Jennifer,” he said, knows her disappearance is “completely out of character for her. She loves me, She loves the boys.”

For several days police and volunteers led air and ground searches of the Oregon area, as well as the San Juan Islands in Washington, a place she liked to visit.

Late in the week police said they were running out of ideas.

“After today [Thursday], we will probably have covered every part of our county, either by air or by vehicle. So, unless they have any more information by the end of today, we will have covered our portions of our county and probably not have any searchers out tomorrow,” said Captain Tim Svenson with the Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office.

Friends have also joined in the effort to search for Jennifer Huston. Some started a “Find Jennifer Huston” page on Facebook and also created a GoFundMe account to offset the cost of the search.
