Assassin’s Creed: Revelations Beta Kicks Off Tomorrow, Download It Today

As previously announced early last month, the Assassin’s Creed: Revelations multiplayer beta is set to kick off tomorrow, September 3 for PlayStation 3 owners.

If you just can’t wait to get in on all of the fun as soon as it’s available, you can go ahead and download it right now off of the PlayStation Network – assuming you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber (or a ‘select’ uPlay member), that is.

The Assassin’s Creed: Revelations multiplayer beta will include four gametypes (Wanted, Manhunt, Deathmatch, and Artifact Assault) across three of the game’s multiplayer maps (Knight’s Hospital, Antioch, Constantinople), and an impressive 9 playable characters (The Sentinel, The Vanguard, The Guardian, The Vizier, The Thespian, The Deacon, The Bombardier, The Trickster and The Champion) to run around and stab people with.

If you want to get in on all of the fun, you’ll need to act fast – the beta will only be running for just over a week, ending on September 11.

Personally, I’m really looking forward to getting my hands on the beta. Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood‘s multiplayer far exceeded my expectations – though, admittedly the bar was set pretty low – and I sunk a considerable amount of hours into it. Even if Assassin’s Creed: Revelations‘ multiplayer was more of the same, I’d still be down to sink even more hours into it.

Assassin’s Creed: Revelations is due out on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on November 15. A PC release is expected to follow shortly after.
