Phaedra Parks Not Leaving Real Housewives Of Atlanta, May Have Divorce With Apollo Nida Play Out On Camera

Phaedra Parks isn’t leaving The Real Housewives of Atlanta despite reports to the contrary, and in fact the popular cast member may have some extra drama playing out this year.

Rumors circulated this week that the cast member was taking a leave of absence as she prepares for husband Apollo Nida to head off to prison for an 8 year sentence. But TMZ reported Tuesday that she will indeed be back to work on the show, and Apollo might as well.

The report noted:

“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Phaedra Parks is back at work — shooting episodes for the new season — and rumors that she’s taking a leave of absence are NOT true, sources tell TMZ.

What’s more… we’ve learned her husband, convicted felon Apollo Nida, is back, too — at least for a while.

We’re told Phaedra and Apollo have been filming for almost a month — trying to shoot as much as possible before he begins serving his 8-year prison sentence for money fraud.

Sources told TMZ that the show may focus heavily on the tension between Phaedra Parks and Apollo Nida, which reportedly has them at the brink of divorce.

Viewers may actually get to see the moment that Phaedra and Apollo split, as reports indicate that she is planning to file for divorce very soon. MediaTakeOut reported this weekend that Phaedra Parks has already set the divorce into motion.

“Phaedra and Apollo had their issues, even before he got caught up [in his legal drama]. Phaedra is a good and loving woman and she tried to stand by him, honor, and hold him down,” a source told the site, adding that Apollo has been staying out all night and leaving his wife out in the dark.

Apollo Nida is pretty unhappy with his wife as well. US Weekly reported that he all but admitted the marriage was coming to an end.

“I mean, my wife didn’t even f**king show up for my sentencing,” he said. “I’m still salty about that.”

Viewers who want to see if Phaedra Parks and Apollo Nida get divorced on camera can catch The Real Housewives of Atlanta when it returns in the fall.
