Lisa Vanderpump is putting one of her famous restaurants up for sale. The restaurant has been on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills several times and it’s the place where a former employee of Lisa’s worked who filed a sexual harassment lawsuit; she was awarded $100,000.
Villa Blanca is on the market with real estate firm, Hilton & Hyland, Radaronline reports.
All that’s known about the sale is that it’s a “turn key” establishment for the buyer, meaning all of the fixtures, furniture, decor, and equipment is included.
All About The Real Housewives posts details of Hilton & Hyland’s listing of Lisa’s restaurant. It’s near high-end stores, such as Armani, Chanel, Bulgari, and Mr. Chow. It has a liquor license to go with it.
Another report indicates that Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurant is located in the “Golden Triangle” of Beverly Hills. It does state that it’s beginning to “show signs of wear and tear.” Some renovation work needs to be done, furniture replaced, and even mentions that the “less than efficent staff has left some B.H. socialites scowling and wondering… “
The restaurant was put on the market July 16, one month after PUMP opened in West Hollywood on May 16.
Between PUMP’s opening and former Villa Blanca employee, Karina Bustillo, being awarded $100K in punitive damages over sexual harassment from manager, Michael Govia, Lisa wants to unload the restaurant.
Lisa and her husband, Ken Todd, have been sued twice by employees at Villa Blanca now. In 2012 they had to pay $75,000 to Ricardo Velasco — an employee who filed a lawsuit against them stemming from “discrimination” and “wrongful termination” claims.
Maybe Lisa thought it was time to drop the restaurant with a new season of RHOBH kicking off and putting the strife behind her.
Although no price of the Beverly Hills hot spot is listed, it could be one of the secrets uncovered in season 5 of the show.
The Inquisitr has kept up-to-date news on RHOBH. As announced last week, Eileen Davidson from The Young and the Restless and Days of Our Lives has signed on to be part of the cast. Prior to that, it was announced that Lisa Rinna is another cast addition as well. The salary for Eileen is the highest one ever for a new cast member in the Real Housewives franchise. She’ll be making a $750,000 for season. An article covering that is here.
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 5 airs Monday nights on Bravo this Fall.
