Zoe Saldana Nude For 'Women's Health UK'

Zoe Saldana is nude for the Women's Health UK's "Naked issue" in an effort to show off what she has before her age and pregnancy begin to catch up with her. The American actress of Dominican-Puerto Rican origin is apparently going for all of the gusto she can get, while sending a message to other women.

For most of us, Saldana is fine the way she is.

If you don't know who Saldana is, she is the talented actress who played Sam Worthington's blue-skinned love interest in James Cameron's Avatar. She was also cast as Lieutenant Uhura and Spock's (Zachary Quinto) love interest in the J.J. Abrams Star Trek reboot. More recently, she has snagged the role of Gamora, the green-skinned assassin, in James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy.

Her latest role as a magazine cover model has 36-year-old Zoe Saldana nude for a cause. The September 2014 issue of Women's Health UK is celebrating its inaugural Body for Life campaign, which encourages women to live healthier lives, and Saldana has taken the visual lead by dishing on what keeps her in shape and her body's needs.

The "Guardian of the Galaxy" stated:

"My body is less toned. I do look in the mirror and see things I don't want. My first reaction is I breathe and I think, 'I'm a woman. I'm 36. My body is changing.'

"I do feel beautiful in a way that even when I was working out a whole lot, I sometimes didn't. Because there have been times that I was really slender and I didn't like that I sometimes looked a little too muscular and flat chested – you'll never be completely happy, so at the end of the day it's like, 'F*** it. Just be happy, regardless.'"

Zoe Saldana posing nude for a magazine was apparently her way of coming to peace with her body.

Saldana says she's learned to follow her intuition, leading her to Marco Perego, who is now the future father of her child:
"We give each other a great deal of support and love. but it wasn't because we found it in each other. We came that way and then got together. That's what I love about it. I do believe whatever's meant to be will be – but had the universe said, 'Let's just wait. He's going to come into your life later,' I would've been fine on this journey I was on just knowing who the f*** I was."
What do you think of Zoe Saldana's nude message as a cover model for Women's Health UK?
