Portia De Rossi Divorce: Does Portia Want To Have A Baby With Ellen DeGeneres?

Portia de Rossi divorce rumors have cooled down quite a bit this week, but a new report now brings a new angle into what could be going on between the actress and her talk show host wife, Ellen DeGeneres. According to Radar Online, the key to re-gluing their love just might be a baby. Sources say that the couple is now thinking about welcoming a child into their lives because it’s something that they have “always wanted” and there’s no better time like right now…

“Ellen has always said that she wants to have children with Portia one day, but she wants to wait until things slow down for her.”

Portia de Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres haven’t really talked publicly about having kids. As a matter of fact, it’s true, Ellen love kids, but Ellen has also made comments about not having kids and how she’s happy with that decision. Now, however, these new reports suggest something very different, and while some people will believe them, other people just know better. Being good with kids and enjoying other people’s kids does not mean that you want to have kids of your own. Even still, this unnamed source insists that a baby is in Ellen and Portia’s future.

“Ellen is so good with kids and when a friend is having a baby, she loves to shower the mom with gifts. She is very generous with others kids, so one can only expect that it will be the same when she has one of her own. Whenever Ellen encounters a baby, she has them laughing in seconds because she starts making funny faces and doing her cartoon voices with the kid.”

Portia de Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres would divorce before having a baby together — that much seems very clear. You really need to pick and choose which rumors you’re going to believe at this point. According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Ellen has reconsidered having a baby because that’s what Portia wants. Ellen will do anything to save her marriage, even bring a baby into her life — when she knows that motherhood isn’t for her. That just doesn’t sound right at all, does it?

And speaking of rumors, sources close to Ellen and Portia say that their new condo purchase is a “good sign” that the pair are going to stay together. It was previously rumored that the couple down-sized to a condo because they were splitting up. According to The Inquisitr, however, the two might have just proven that there is not any bad blood between them. While the media insists on creating drama, Ellen and Portia don’t seem to be putting their lives on hold at all.
